Blender smooth tool not working
WebUsually, I'm a macbook user, but for blender I got a windows machine, but I remapped the keys on keyboard to mimic macbook layout. I replaced left ALT with left WIN - and for most cases it works ok, but for alt G and alt R it somehow doesnt. First when I pressed alt (physical win) + G - the XBOX Game Bar popped in, I removed that app, but then ... WebThere's really no more smoothing to be done. That's as good of an approximation of a sphere as can be achieved with the current topology. If you want it to look smoother, you need to set the shading to smooth to hide the edges, then add more geometry until you feel you've met the desired amount of smoothness (don't go crazy with it though).

It's like it was faceted, and upping the res in the sculpt mode just increased the res of the facets vs smoothing it. So after pulling the res down it got rid of it all.

You can press [alt]+ [m] to clear the mask or go to "mask">"clear mask" while in sculpting mode. [ctrl]+ [i] will invert a mask, it is possible you accidentally pressed this and it went from no mask to full mask. You are saving peoples lives with this info haha. Thank you for this tip.
