WebFeb 26, 2008 · I use Outerwears on stock filters, they do shed water and keep the grass seeds and such out of the filter. Like most water shedding materials it does let water though if there is significant amounts of it (like holding it under a faucet). I don't think anything exists that will be able to pass air through and also stop water completely if the bike is underwater.
